Nuts About You
It's another Tiddly Tuesday! This month's challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog is all about dimension. Go check out all of the details here and please play along with us this month.
For my creation, I decided to create a center step card. The digital images are from the digital stamp set Fun Animals from Tiddly Inks. I printed the squirrel, acorns and greeting onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored them with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut all of the images and arranged them onto the card. The grass is cut from a MFT die and I colored the grass by sponging my favorite color in the whole world...Adironack Lettuce dye ink. The patterned paper on the card is from Carta Bella.
Thanks for being one of the eleven people who come to this blog. I appreciate you sticking with me.

Another Pumpkin
I thought I should share another creation from the Gina Marie Designs Pumpkin Quilt Die. This time around I used only the pumpkin pieces from the die. I watercolored the die cut pieces with Distress Oxides. My favorite part of the pumpkin is the little curly Baker's Twine. Totally makes the card in my opinion, but allows it to remain simple as well.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, which has somehow become a pumpkin patch, lol.

Pumpkin Quilt Die
At Stampaway, I truly can't resist the Gina Marie Designs booth. I had to pick this Pumpkin Quilt Die. Last weekend I started to play with it (about time!). The above card uses patterned paper from Carta Bella.
The card below is the result of me playing with Distress Oxides on glossy paper and then applying Distress Micro Glaze. I'm not sure what I think of it.
Both cards also use a greeting die from A Jillian Vance Design.

Tree Hugger
I love the art of Mother Nature in the fall. I couldn't resist turning the digital image of Tree Hugger from Tiddly Inks into an autumn tree. I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers using this month's color palette on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design and the patterned paper on this card is from Carte Bella. A few sequins complete the details of this card.

Genius
September is here. Time for another challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. This month it is all about the boys.
For my card, I printed the sweet digital image of "Genius" from Tiddly Inks. I colored the image with Copic markers, tried a new wonky die from Gina Marie Designs and mounted to a gray card panel.
Felt good to take a few moments to color. The start of the school year has consumed me. Yay for the three day weekend that just passed. I got to breathe a bit.
Take a few moments this month to join us, won't you? All of the details for the challenge are on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

The Ball Drop
I know it seems a bit early for this, but I had this idea a few weeks ago and wanted to see if could make a card to match my idea. I succeeded.
You can read all about this card on my last post for A Jillian Vance Design on the AJVD blog.

Light Up My Life
It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday! This time around we are being challenged to created a Clean and Simple card. That seems to be all I do, lol.
For my card, I used the Tiddly Inks digital image of Light Up My Life. I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers. The glow from the fireflies was colored with Distress Oxide. Using a circle die, I drew the circle that is acting as the sky. I also drew the little dots around the circle. The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design.
Sure hope you join us this month for the Clean and Simple challenge. Go to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog for all of the details.
I think the real challenge is how to keep our lives clean and simple, lol. There's always something.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!

Surprise from Jason
Ten years ago, I had a student named Jason in my Kindergarten classroom. Fast forward to last week when I reached into my home mailbox. I found a package from Jason. In it was the most adorable dachshund pillowcase ever. I am touched that he thought of me and remembered my love for Sloopy after all of these years.
So, I made him this thank you card. The fun dachshund alphabet is from Cowtown Stamps, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers. The other part of the sentiment is from Honeybee Stamps. That's some fun washi tape along the bottom of the card.
Thanks so much, Jason! I'm so proud of the kindhearted soul you are.

A Fringe Flower Hello
Every now and then, I make a card I actually like. This is one of them.
I'm not sure why I waited an eternity to play with the A Jillian Vance Design Fringe Flower Die Set like I did. This card came together quickly. The coloring method is sponging Distress Inks onto scrap pieces of white cardstock and simply die-cutting.
You can read all about this card today on the AJVD blog.

Light My Life
It's July's Fab Friday at Tiddly Inks!
For my contribution, I made this card using the Tiddly Inks digital image of Light My Life. I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers. I then added the wave border along the bottom of the card cut with a Memory Box die. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and is from A Jillian Vance Design.
Make sure you check out the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog to see some beautiful Tiddly cards and projects.

Graduation Corgi
Not many people need a graduation card with a corgi on it. But when your best customer needs such a card, you make it.
The corgi is a digital image from Some Odd Girl. The graduation hat is from Avery Elle. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps. X-Press It cardstock was used, along with Copic markers.
Later in the week, I'll be back for Fab Friday with Tiddly Inks. Thanks for visiting my blog today.

Fishy Notecard
There may be a time when you need a fishy notecard. If there is, you can easily use a balloon die to make the fish.
This card is a result of me just playing around with some supplies, using them in unexpected ways. If you'd like to read about this card....how I made the fish with Distress Oxides and two quick cuts with my scissors and the underwater scene using Distress Inks....you should swim on over to the A Jillian Vance Design Blog today. You'll find all of the details there.

WELCOME to Unicorn Street!
It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. The theme this month is Anything Goes, so you really have no excuse to not particpate.
This card features a digital image from the Tiddly Inks set Lovely YOUNicone and Unicorn. I printed the unicorn onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the unicorn with Copic markers. The letters are from a Penny Black alphabet stamp set and was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black. The "welcome" sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design and was also stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. I added a strip of washi tape near the bottom and a few white sequins to complete the card.
At first glance, this card might not make any sense. The reason behind the card doesn't make any sense either, but it is a real situation that angers me. A co-worker of mine, in order for her family to remain together, had to seek residence in Canada. The new administration terminated the immigration program that allowed her husband to live and work in the US, and he was ordered removed. He had been working in this country for several years. The reason there is a unicorn on the card is because she is moving to a street called Unicorn Street.
Canada, you're awesome. The US right now, not so much.

Baby Girl
Whenever I have a baby card to make, I always "reach" (or should I say find the file on my computer?) for Tiddly Inks for cute baby images.
This card features the Tiddly Inks digital image of Baby Girl. She's just precious, don't you think? I printed her onto X-Press It cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. I fussy cut her and placed her onto a patterned paper cardfront (no clue the source). The cover-up die is from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design. I added three pink enamel dots to the design because they were amazingly the perfect match.

Tennis Ball
This card served as this year's Father's Day card to my Dad. My Dad has a tennis ball that Sloopy desperately wants but cannot have. Mind you, there are other tennis balls for her. But she wants the one my Dad uses for exercising his hands.
He loved the card. He seemed to get a kick out of it.

Leaves as Trees
I love stretching my supplies and using them in unexpected ways. Here you will see a leaf image acting as trees in a distance. They were colored with Prismacolor pencils. The sun was sponged with SeaShells Conch Shell dye ink (yes, I still have that brand...this is my favorite yellow). The hill was drawn with a Micron pen.
You can read all about this card today on the A Jillian Vance Design blog.

Fishing Expert
It's time for another Tiddy Tuesday. We have a color challenge for the month. Go to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for all of the details and join in on the fun.
My card features the adorable digital image Wryn Fishing Expert. I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops and Nuvo Glitter Drops to the fish (I couldn't decide which to use so I used both, lol). The sentiment is from a set from Taylored Expressions and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. Can't have enough birthday cards, right?
Don't forget to head on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. You'll see there are a couple of very talented guest designers playing in all the fun.

Bloom
This past weekend I made it into my stamp room to color this beautiful bouquet image from A Jillian Vance Design. It is from the stamp set Bloom. What fun I had with my Copic markers on this one. The sentiment was made from the Thanks DIEalogue Word Die, also from A Jillian Vance Design.
You can read all about this card on the A Jillian Vance Design blog.
Have a beautiful week. Back again tomorrow with another post. I guess you can say it was a productive weekend in the stamp room.

Happy Birthday, Succa!
I squealed when Crissy Croll drew a cactus for Tiddly Inks because you know how much I love them. In fact, she drew a bunch of cacti in this digital image set Cute Cactus.
It's a Tiddly Tuesday on this first day of May. The challenge for this month is to create a Tiddly Inks project with Florals or Plants. You can read all about the challenge and see some BEAUTIFUL creations on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.
For my card, I used one cactus from Cute Cactus. I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.
The sentiment cracks me up. It is from A Jillian Vance Design and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
A strip of pattern paper from an unknown source is along the side of the card panel.
Don't be a succa! Join us at Tiddly Inks this month for all of the fun!

Tiddly Inks Spring Is Here Blog Hop
What a lovely day for a blog hop! Tiddly Inks is celebrating the arrival of spring. About one day a week it actually feels like spring around here, lol. Maybe all of these beautiful flowers will make things better.
This card features the Tiddly Inks digital image of Wryn Blooms. It is an older Tiddly Inks image but I've had my eye on it for quite some time just waiting on the right time to use it. I think a spring blog hop is the perfect occasion.
To make this card, I printed the adorable Wryn Blooms onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers. I added a bit of sparkle to the flower centers with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen. The sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and is from Hampton Arts. I added a small sequin below the sentiment for a little interest and balance. The card base that shows along the side is dry embossed light blue cardstock.
I'm set for Mother's Day with this card.
And don't forget, you are set for all occasions with Tiddly Inks.
You will want to see all of the GORGEOUS spring creations on this blog hop. You can find your way by following this link.

SLOOPY!
TAKE A LOOK AT THIS! SLOOPY....MY SLOOPY....INSPIRED THIS DIGITAL STAMP FROM TIDDLY INKS!
Be still my heart! The fabulous Christy Croll made my dreams come true with this new Tiddly Inks image Puppilicous Dachshund. A few months ago she asked the Tiddly Inks Design Team for image ideas. I begged her for a dachshund, and this was the result. She said it was modeled after Sloopy. I'm in love.
Thanks you so much Christy!
To make this card, I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is from a stamp set made especially for Creative Chaos in Circleville called Buzzwords from Scraps Of Love. I framed the image with scarlet cardstock and added a scarlet heart.
Tiddly Inks has so much wonderful, heartfelt images. Go see....today's Fab Friday on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

Mermaid Circle Card
Go round or go home. That's this month's challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. We sure hope you join in on all the fun.
My circle contribution is this card using one of the adorable mermaid images from Tiddly Inks' Amy and Her Mini Mermaid Friends. I printed the adorable digital image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I then fussy cut carefully around the image.
The card base itself was made with the help of some circle frame dies from My Favorite Things. The "ocean" was made by repeatedly activating Distress Oxides on glossy cardstock with water and then heat-setting. Once I liked the look I applied some Distress Micro Glaze onto the circle to achieve the brightness of colors.
The sentiment is from a retired stamp set from A Jillian Vance Design and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. A few crystal beads serve as bubbles to complete this card.
Swim on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for all of the challenge details.

Wryn Shares Hope
It's Fab Friday at Tiddly Inks.
Today, I'm featuring one of the newer images from Tiddly Inks called Wryn Shares Hope. I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. I did a bit of sponging around the edges of the card with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers. The faint dots and stars, both images from Stamps By Judith were stamped with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers. The sentiment is from The Cat's Pajamas and was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.
Go the the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog for some more Tiddly inspiration from the Design Team. They certainly are the reason it's called Fab Friday.
And what a Fab Friday it is....woot! A much needed Spring Break starts today at 2:55!

White Rose With Sympathy
I usually struggle making sympathy cards. I almost hate to admit how quickly this one came together. I like the elegant look I achieved.
For this card, I white heat embossed the rose and the sentiment, both from the Beautiful Rose stamp set from A Jillian Vance Design, onto gray cardstock base. I place onto a white card front panel and added a red heart punched from red cardstock.
This card is featured today on the AJVD blog. Do go check it out.

Molly Celebrates
It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday! Our March challenge is to use a Molly image from Tiddly Inks. Such a hard challenge because it is so hard to choose which one to use.
I finally decided on the Tiddly Inks digital image Molly Celebrates. Makes for the perfect birthday card, don't you think? I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I fussy cut Molly and placed her onto a card panel that was dry embossed with an embossing folder. The strip along the side of the panel is some patterned paper from Lasting Impressions. A few little pink sequins complete the details of this festive card.
Sure hope you join us during this Molly March! Make sure to stop by the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog to get inspired and see all of the possibilities.

Green Leaf
Isn't this leaf so realistic looking? I just love the Grand Leaf Trio die set from A Jillian Vance Design. I used it in the fall A LOT, but I started thinking how it is crazy not to use it in the spring and summer too.
You can read all about this card today on the A Jillian Vance Design blog.

Take A Chance
I'm here today with the fourth and final image from the March release at Sassy Cheryl's. This release sure has been a lot of fun. I just love all of the images.
This card features the digital image of "Take A Chance". I printed it onto Hammerill Color Copy and colored the image with Copic markers. A wee bit of shading was done with Prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut the image and placed on a white cardstock panel. The strip of patterned paper you see along the side is from Recollections. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onxy Black ink and is from an old MFT stamp set.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I sure hope you've enjoyed the images as much as I have. Now, head on over to Sassy Cheryl's and snag this image for $1 off, today from 9:00 AM Eastern Time for the next 24 hours. Here's the special code CHANCE

I'm Here For You
The new release reveal continues at Sassy Cheryl's.
Today, I'm sharing a card that features the new digital image "I'm Here For You". I just love it. I printed it onto Hammermill Color Copy and colored with Copic markers and did some shading with Prismacolor pencils. Fearlessly, I fussy cut the image, lol.
On some white cardstock, I sponged Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean). I added a little SeaShells SeaShell pink dye ink as well. A couple of spritzes of water. I made the grass with a MFT die, and sponged with Distress Ink Peeled Paint. I placed the white frame, cut from a MFT die, over the scene and placed the heartfelt Sassy Cheryl's image into the scene. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and is from MFT.
If you want "I'm Here For You", you can get it at a discounted price today, over at Sassy Cheryl's. Simply enter the code LOVEME
Please come back to my blog to see this in its entirety. I'll have another discounted code as well.

New Friendships
It's March 1st. How is that possible?
With a new month comes a new release from Sassy Cheryl's. Today I bring to you the new digital image called "New Friendships". I printed it onto Hammermill Color Copy paper and colored it with Copic markers. I did some shading and some detailing with Prismacolor pencils. If you are wondering about how I did the raindrop effect...I simply took my Copic blender pen and randomly put big blobs all over my picture. I'm kinda liking the effect.
This heartfelt image is available at a special discount over at Sassy Cheryl's from 9:00 AM Eastern until 9:00 AM tomorrow. Simply enter in the code FRIENDS
I'll be back again with another new image tomorrow with a new code. See you then!

Celebrate Balloons
I'm celebrating a day off, lol.
This card is featured today on the A Jillian Vance Design blog. Make sure you head on over and read all the details.
My stamp room is a total wreck. I got the idea to get rid of some stuff this weekend and now it actually looks worse. Good thing I am off today.

You Are Loved, Yupo!
So, I finally played with alcohol inks and yupo paper over the weekend. SO fun! What's even more fun is that I have several alcohol inks in a drawer from the last time they were so trendy and popular. Yupo paper is new to me. I think it is going to be my new friend.
I after playing with some reds and purples, I cut the yupo paper with a Spellbinders die. HOW PRETTY! I then cut the word "you" from a piece of black cardstock with a Taylored Expressions die. I teamed it up with "are loved" from a very versatile stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I adhered a few purple sequins for some interest. I framed the card panel with some bright purple cardstock.
A quick card....the result of just playing. If you haven't tried alcohol inks on yupo yet, I encourage you to do so. Again, it is just plain fun.

Tiddly Inks Galore!
If you have not been to Tiddly Inks lately, you need to know you are missing out on a bunch of amazing images being released by Christy. She is an illustrating machine right now (I can't keep up, lol).
This image is from the Tiddly Inks stamp set Pawfect Day. It is available digitally, as well as in a clear set. For this card, I kept all of the cute little paw friends away and just focused on having Wryn. She looks rather pensive, so I thought this sentiment from Simon Says Stamp seems perfect, serving as a thinking of you card. The image is colored with Copics. The paper I used was Hammermill Color Copy. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink. A few white sequins were added to the white space for interest. The patterned paper is from an unknown source. Another product of my hoarding, lol.
Now...go. Treat yourself to some Tiddly Inks candy.

Molly's Heartline
It's time for another Tiddly Inks challenge. The theme for this month is Give Love. Perfect for upcoming Valentine's Day. Sure hope you play along with us. Go to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for all of the details and to see some DT creations that you are bound to love.
My contribution features a new digital image from Tiddly Inks. It is called Molly's Heartline. Isn't she the sweetest?! I printed her onto X-Press It cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. I stamped a little $1 stamp sentiment onto the image panel and placed the image panel onto a piece of heart patterned paper that I've been hoarding for years. Seems like it was a meant to be pairing. Glad I waited for the right image, lol.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. I love knowing that you are here checking out my creations.

To My Love
This card became home to some die cut hearts I cut from a piece of Canson Watercolor paper. I was simply playing around with the following Distress Inks: Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple and Dusty Concord. I had smeared these ink pads onto a craft mat and misted with water. With an acrylic block, I picked up the colors and applied to the watercolor paper.
The hearts were cut with a die from A Jillian Vance Design. The sentiment is from AJVD too. The sequins were added for some interest. You can read all about this card over on the AJVD blog today.

Morning Blessings
A good Good Morning to you! I hope it is fabulous wherever you may be.
I'm here today with the final image of this month's fantastic release from Sassy Cheryl's. This image is called Morning Blessings. It comes with several elements, though I only used the girl. Go on over to Sassy Cheryl's to see all of the great things you get with this image.
For this card, I printed the girl from Morning Blessings onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut. I created some grass for her to sit on with a Gina Marie Designs die, sponging Adirondack Lettuce dye ink for the color. I placed onto a cream colored cardstock, sponging some Sea Shells Peach Bellini nears the grass and some Sea Shells Conch Shell for the sun. Some birds from a very old My Favorite Things stamp set were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink. A couple of Gina Marie Designs clouds were cut and added to the sky scene. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
This image is $1 off today until midnight with the code: BLESS
If you want the entire release (all four fabulous digital stamps), use the code BUNDLE today to get $4 off.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog over the past four days. I hope you enjoy these Sassy Cheryl's images as much as I am.
