I BE-LEAF in You

I just love playing with A Jillian Vance Design's Grand Leaf Trio die set.  Doesn't that look like a real leaf that fell from a tree?  Broke out the Distress Inks and did some watercoloring on this card.

You can read all about it on my guest post on the AJVD blog today.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today.

To Clean or Not to Clean?

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, cleaning lady
To Clean or Not to Clean?  I think I know the answer to that, LOL.  Hope you chose fun over cleaning this past weekend.

I chose fun by coloring this Sassy Cheryl's digital stamp called "To Clean or Not to Clean." I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers.  A few Prismacolor pencil strokes were added into the broom, basket and hair.  I paired this adorable image with a sentiment from Taylored Expressions, stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  A few white highlights with a white gel pen. A few little sequins were added for interest.  The image was placed on a card base from Recollections.

Now, I should probably clean house this week.  What a bummer.

Sunflower Season

Tiddly Inks, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, coloring book, Wryn
It's Fab Friday over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.  Go check out all of the Tiddly deliciousness on display by the design team.

My contribution comes from the digital Tiddly Inks Everyday Whimsy Coloring Book.  I LOVE these coloring books because all you have to do is decide which image you want, print it, and color it and you can use it for an entire card front.  This image was colored with Copic markers.

Hope the sun shines bright on your weekend!  Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Come Here, You...

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, dog, love, puppy kisses
This card features an absolutely adorable digital image from Sassy Cheryl's called "Come Here, You...".  I simply printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and had fun coloring it with Copic markers.

The sentiment is from the long gone There She Goes and was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.  The small heart is also from TSG and was stamped with Distress Ink Dried Marigold.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today.  Make it a great one.  And, hug a dog if you can.  I do and its my favorite moment of the day.

Pot Head

AJVD, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, coffee
So, I'm not a pot head in any sense of the word.  Despite that, this card was fun to make and cracks me up!

You can read all about this card today as I guest post on the A Jillian Vance Design blog

Have a great week!  Now, where is my cold, fizzy caffeine on this early Monday morning?  Hello, Diet Coke!

Eek!

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, Halloween, witch, Copic markers
My first Halloween card of the season.  Have I told you how much I enjoy working with Halloween images.  The colors of the holiday are just so much fun.

This card features the Sassy Cheryl's digital image of Peek-a-Boo Spider.  I printed the image onto Hammermill Color Copy and colored with Copic markers.  I fussy cut around the image.

For the background panels of this card, I used a Tim Holtz spider web stencil and sponged some Mama Elephant Smoke pigment ink.  I stamped an the sentiment from an old MFT stamp set three times with Versafine Onyx Black.  I framed this panel with black cardstock and then placed it onto a panel of patterned paper from K&Company.

Happy Weekend, y'all!

You Are Pawesome!

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, dog
This card features an extremely cute digital image from Sassy Cheryl's called "With Love...Bella".

I printed the image onto some Hammermill Color Copy.  I then colored the image with Copic markers.  I masked the image, and stamped a portion of a background stamp from My Favorite Things with Versamark Watermark ink.  I then sponged some Mamma Elephant Smoke pigment ink onto the paws to achieve the faint paw prints.  The sentiment was heat embossed and is from Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!  Hope your day is PAWESOME!

A+ Avenger

It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday!  Over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog you will find a brand new challenge for the month, Anything Goes.  So no excuses for not joining us this month!

My card features the Tiddly Inks digital image of A+ Avenger.  I printed her onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  I did the out-of-the box technique with a Nestabilities circle die.  The background is a result of white heat embossing a background stamp from Simon Says Stamp and sponging the following Distress Inks: Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire.  The yellow cardstock stars are cut from dies from The Cats Pajamas.  The sentiment strip was stamped with a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp using Versafine Onyx Black ink.  A scrap of red ribbon was tied around the card panel.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Have an A+ kind of week!

Fri-yay!

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, Friday, TGIF, Fri-Yay!
TGIF!  And just look at that THREE day weekend.  Woot!

This card was made using some elements from Sassy Cheryl's Knowledge is Power digital stamp set.  I printed the clock and the apple onto X-Press It cardstock.  The apple is colored with Copic markers.

The sentiment was cut from black foam using an alphabet die from Neat & Tangled.  Patterned paper from Lasting Impressions and The Paper Studio form the layers, along with a piece of black cardstock.

It's Fri-yay!  Enjoy the weekend!
