Graduation Corgi

Some Odd Girl, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, corgi
Not many people need a graduation card with a corgi on it.  But when your best customer needs such a card, you make it.

The corgi is a digital image from Some Odd Girl.  The graduation hat is from Avery Elle.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps.  X-Press It cardstock was used, along with Copic markers.

Later in the week, I'll be back for Fab Friday with Tiddly Inks.  Thanks for visiting my blog today.

You Are Loved, Yupo!

Kecia Waters, heart, yupo, alcohol inks, Valentine
So, I finally played with alcohol inks and yupo paper over the weekend.  SO fun!  What's even more fun is that I have several alcohol inks in a drawer from the last time they were so trendy and popular.  Yupo paper is new to me.  I think it is going to be my new friend.

I after playing with some reds and purples, I cut the yupo paper with a Spellbinders die.  HOW PRETTY!  I then cut the word "you" from a piece of black cardstock with a Taylored Expressions die.  I teamed it up with "are loved" from a very versatile stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I adhered a few purple sequins for some interest.  I framed the card panel with some bright purple cardstock.

A quick card....the result of just playing.  If you haven't tried alcohol inks on yupo yet, I encourage you to do so.  Again, it is just plain fun.

Tiddly Inks Galore!

Tiddly Inks, Copic markers, thinking of you, Kecia Waters
If you have not been to Tiddly Inks lately, you need to know you are missing out on a bunch of amazing images being released by Christy.  She is an illustrating machine right now (I can't keep up, lol).

This image is from the Tiddly Inks stamp set Pawfect Day.  It is available digitally, as well as in a clear set.   For this card, I kept all of the cute little paw friends away and just focused on having Wryn.  She looks rather pensive, so I thought this sentiment from Simon Says Stamp seems perfect, serving as a thinking of you card.  The image is colored with Copics.  The paper I used was Hammermill Color Copy.  The sentiment was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.  A few white sequins were added to the white space for interest.  The patterned paper is from an unknown source.  Another product of my hoarding, lol.

Now...go.  Treat yourself to some Tiddly Inks candy.

To My Love

Kecia Waters, watercoloring, Valentine's Day, hearts, AJVD
This card became home to some die cut hearts I cut from a piece of Canson Watercolor paper.  I was simply playing around with the following Distress Inks: Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Candied Apple and Dusty Concord.  I had smeared these ink pads onto a craft mat and misted with water. With an acrylic block, I picked up the colors and applied to the watercolor paper.

The hearts were cut with a die from A Jillian Vance Design. The sentiment is from AJVD too.  The sequins were added for some interest. You can read all about this card over on the AJVD blog today.

Thank you so much for visiting the my blog today.

Forget Me Not and some Mischieveous Mice

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, Valentine
Hello again!  And welcome to Day 2 of the January release from Sassy Cheryl's

Today, I get to share two more digital images from the release.

The card above features the digital image of "Forget Me Not".  It will be available at 6:00 AM Eastern on Sunday, January 7.  This particular image was so much fun to color, especially that tree.  I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers.  The die "you" is from Taylored Expressions and "are loved" is from Simon Says Stamp.  The heart is a punch.

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, mice, coffee, Copic markers
The next new image featured on the above card is called "Mischievous Mice".  Appropriate name, huh?  I printed the darling image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment and the two coffee beans are from A Jillian Vance Design.

Tomorrow, I'll have one more card to share from the January release.  Here's a sneak peek....

Warm Beverages on a Snowy Ohio Day

Scraps of Love, Ann Cobiere-Scott, Creative Chaos, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, Ohio, coffee
This was a card I put together to help brighten and warm what is dull, gray and cold Ohio in the winter.

I used the Scraps of Love set designed by Ann Coriere-Scott (available at Creative Chaos) to create a fun, winter snow scene.

I stamped the coffee cup six times with Marvy Black ink onto a scrap of X-Press It cardstock.  I colored each cup with Copic markers and then fussy cut each image.

Using a die from Simon Says Stamp, I created the snow bank using white cardstock.  I adhered the snow bank onto the patterned paper panel by The Paper Studio.  I then placed the coffee cups onto the snow drift.  I stamped the sentiment, also from the Scraps of Love set with Versafine Black Onyx.

Lots of snow this year?  I'm not sure.  But someone might feel a bit warmer because of this card.

Thanks for visiting the blog today.  I posted every day this week!!! Can you believe it?

You Are Pawesome!

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, dog
This card features an extremely cute digital image from Sassy Cheryl's called "With Love...Bella".

I printed the image onto some Hammermill Color Copy.  I then colored the image with Copic markers.  I masked the image, and stamped a portion of a background stamp from My Favorite Things with Versamark Watermark ink.  I then sponged some Mamma Elephant Smoke pigment ink onto the paws to achieve the faint paw prints.  The sentiment was heat embossed and is from Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!  Hope your day is PAWESOME!

A+ Avenger

It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday!  Over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog you will find a brand new challenge for the month, Anything Goes.  So no excuses for not joining us this month!

My card features the Tiddly Inks digital image of A+ Avenger.  I printed her onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  I did the out-of-the box technique with a Nestabilities circle die.  The background is a result of white heat embossing a background stamp from Simon Says Stamp and sponging the following Distress Inks: Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire.  The yellow cardstock stars are cut from dies from The Cats Pajamas.  The sentiment strip was stamped with a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp using Versafine Onyx Black ink.  A scrap of red ribbon was tied around the card panel.

Thanks for visiting my blog.  Have an A+ kind of week!
