Hot Diggity Dog!

I can start sharing some cards that have made their way to graduates.  This card is for the graduate across the street, so I thought it was kind of fun to put Sloopy on it since that's how everyone in our neighborhood knows us.

To make this card, I stamped the Art Impressions image of the dachshund with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the dachshund with Copic markers. I drew the sidewalk and the leash, and colored the scene with Copic markers.

The sentiment is from Rosie's Roadshow and was stamped using Versafine Onyx Black.

A couple of layers of cardstock frame this scene.

Foxy Stamp Room

AJVD, Whimsie Doodles, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, fox
On Saturday, I took a few *hours* (sigh) and cleaned up my stamp room.  What I found was some actual desk space and my love for coloring.  Feels great to have a clean, non-cluttered surface to color on.  It's a rather "foxy" stamp room right now.  It will probably last about two days, LOL.

This was the first card I made on this clear desk.  It is a card that features the A Jillian Vance Design stamp set from Whimsie Doodles called "Out Foxed".   You can read all about it on the AJVD blog today.

Have a blessed holiday, and remember what it's all about.

That Bites

A Jillian Vance Design, Whimsie Doodles, Kecia Waters, mosquito
This weekend is the "unofficial" start to summer, and it really "bites" that I have been harboring a head cold for the past week.  Enough already!

This card, which cracks me up, features the set "Happy Trails" by Whimsie Doodles for A Jillian Vance Design.  Patterned paper is from DCWV.  Colored with Copic markers, and a little Diamond Glaze for the shine on the pesky mosquito.

Hopefully this lovely germ that I have will be gone by the "official" start of summer.

Daisies on Kraft

A Jillian Vance Design, Lisa Lara Originals, Kecia Waters, daisies

Quick.  That's what this past weekend was, and what this card is.

You can read all about this CAS card today on the A Jillian Vance Design blog.  It was made with Prismacolor pencils on kraft, using the AJVD stamp set "Picking Daisies".

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
