Can you believe it is already March??!!! Time for another challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. This month we have a color challenge. Head over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for all of the details.

My card features the Tiddly Inks digital image of Wryn-Just a Note. I printed this cutie pie onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I then fussy cut around the image. The card panel utilizes a piece of gray cardstock stamped with a background stamp from A Jillian Vance Design using SSS fog dye ink. I framed this panel with black cardstock and stamped the sentiment, which was in my stash (sorry, unknown source). It seemed appropriate. I then placed the entire panel and image onto a white card base.

Please join Tiddly Inks for our monthly challenge! We'd love to see your creations!Keciahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08492515483441976964noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594611634541612593.post-47762843430433070892019-02-05T01:00:00.000-05:002019-02-05T01:00:06.829-05:00Mermaid ATC

Yay! It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday! This month over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog, we are being challenged to make an Artist Trading Card (ATC).

I thought it would be fun to use one of the mermaids from the Tiddly Inks digital set Amy and Her Mini Mermaid Friends. I printed the mermaid onto X-Press It cardstock. I cut the cardstock so that it was slightly less than the standard 3.5 inch x 2.5 inch ATC size. I colored the image and made the water with Copic markers. I stamped the sentiment from A Jillian Vance Design with Versamark watermark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder from Simon Says Stamp. I then adhered three crystal bulbs for bubbles and framed the cardstock with some 3.5 inch x 2.5 inch dark aqua colored cardstock.

Sure hope you join us for all of the fun this month. Show us your ATCs!Keciahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08492515483441976964noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594611634541612593.post-38702189322879324812019-01-20T11:16:00.000-05:002019-01-20T11:16:01.687-05:00Wryn Waits and Looks at the Stars

It is fun to be on a digital design team and NOT have a working computer. But, I'm going through my stash of images I had printed prior to my computer dying.

This card features the adorable digital stamp from Tiddly Inks called Wryn Waits. A while ago (LOL), I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock. Recently (LOL), I colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut. The card panel was sponged with some blue inks and cut with a Gina Marie Designs die to create the starry sky. The grass was made from cardstock sponged with green (Adirondack Lettuce dye, of course) and cut with a MFT die. The sentiment is from two companies, Honeybee Stamps and A Jillian Vance Design. The hearts were cut with a punch and colored with Copic markers.

Perfect card for the upcoming Valentine Day holiday. Perfect Valentine's Day gift for me...a computer!Keciahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08492515483441976964noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594611634541612593.post-12513792777175925992019-01-19T11:03:00.001-05:002019-01-19T11:06:37.974-05:00Enchanted Rose

I made this card to celebrate the Buckeyes win in the Rose Bowl. I'm not sure how it didn't end up on the blog until now. Oh well.

The beautiful image is from Brutus Monroe and is called Enchanted Rose. I colored it with Copic markers.

I'm here! It's been awhile, I know.

My computer died and I had some other house issues going on. And the holidays. Stress.

But I think my little hiatus was good for me. It made me miss my beloved hobby. I've got some Copic refills on the way (had to beat the price hike) and soon my markers will be juicy. That's been somewhat of a problem as of late.

I'm starting out the new year right though. Coloring and posting.

Today is a Tiddly Tuesday! Talk about starting out the year right! Thank goodness the challenge is "Anything Goes" because I still don't have a computer and access to my digital images. This image comes from the Everyday Fun with Friends coloring book from Tiddly Inks. I had printed it prior to my computer dying onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers and did a bit of shading with Prismacolor pencils. The "woof" die cut is from Recollections.

Sure hope you join us at Tiddly Inks this month for our Anything Goes challenge. If I can do it, you can too.

Here's wishing you a crafty 2019! I'm wishing one for myself too!Keciahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08492515483441976964noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594611634541612593.post-78527792792450540282018-11-06T01:00:00.000-05:002018-11-06T01:00:03.991-05:00Nuts About You

It's another Tiddly Tuesday! This month's challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog is all about dimension. Go check out all of the details here and please play along with us this month.

For my creation, I decided to create a center step card. The digital images are from the digital stamp set Fun Animals from Tiddly Inks. I printed the squirrel, acorns and greeting onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored them with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. I fussy cut all of the images and arranged them onto the card. The grass is cut from a MFT die and I colored the grass by sponging my favorite color in the whole world...Adironack Lettuce dye ink. The patterned paper on the card is from Carta Bella.

Thanks for being one of the eleven people who come to this blog. I appreciate you sticking with me.

I thought I should share another creation from the Gina Marie Designs Pumpkin Quilt Die. This time around I used only the pumpkin pieces from the die. I watercolored the die cut pieces with Distress Oxides. My favorite part of the pumpkin is the little curly Baker's Twine. Totally makes the card in my opinion, but allows it to remain simple as well.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, which has somehow become a pumpkin patch, lol.Keciahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08492515483441976964noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594611634541612593.post-19645439527906839582018-10-19T19:15:00.001-04:002018-10-19T19:15:26.513-04:00Pumpkin Quilt Die

At Stampaway, I truly can't resist the Gina Marie Designs booth. I had to pick this Pumpkin Quilt Die. Last weekend I started to play with it (about time!). The above card uses patterned paper from Carta Bella.

The card below is the result of me playing with Distress Oxides on glossy paper and then applying Distress Micro Glaze. I'm not sure what I think of it.

Both cards also use a greeting die from A Jillian Vance Design.
I love the art of Mother Nature in the fall. I couldn't resist turning the digital image of Tree Hugger from Tiddly Inks into an autumn tree. I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers using this month's color palette on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design and the patterned paper on this card is from Carte Bella. A few sequins complete the details of this card.

Won't you join us for this month's challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog? Head on over and see some fabulous creations from the design team for inspiration.

September is here. Time for another challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. This month it is all about the boys.

For my card, I printed the sweet digital image of "Genius" from Tiddly Inks. I colored the image with Copic markers, tried a new wonky die from Gina Marie Designs and mounted to a gray card panel.

Felt good to take a few moments to color. The start of the school year has consumed me. Yay for the three day weekend that just passed. I got to breathe a bit.

Take a few moments this month to join us, won't you? All of the details for the challenge are on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

I know it seems a bit early for this, but I had this idea a few weeks ago and wanted to see if could make a card to match my idea. I succeeded.

You can read all about this card on my last post for A Jillian Vance Design on the AJVD blog.Keciahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08492515483441976964noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594611634541612593.post-1753257468722601532018-08-07T01:00:00.000-04:002018-08-07T01:00:03.331-04:00Light Up My Life

It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday! This time around we are being challenged to created a Clean and Simple card. That seems to be all I do, lol.

For my card, I used the Tiddly Inks digital image of Light Up My Life. I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers. The glow from the fireflies was colored with Distress Oxide. Using a circle die, I drew the circle that is acting as the sky. I also drew the little dots around the circle. The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design.

Sure hope you join us this month for the Clean and Simple challenge. Go to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog for all of the details.

I think the real challenge is how to keep our lives clean and simple, lol. There's always something.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!Keciahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08492515483441976964noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594611634541612593.post-52116530337125520762018-08-06T05:30:00.000-04:002018-08-06T17:19:19.807-04:00Hooked On You

Last year, I learned how to crochet. So, I'm sort of in love with this card because now, along with stamps, I seem to collect yarn, lol.

You can read all about how I created this card on the A Jillian Vance Design blog. (Well, actually you can't. Sorry about the confusion). If anyone wants to to know how to make this card or need specifics about the products used, just send me a message.
Ten years ago, I had a student named Jason in my Kindergarten classroom. Fast forward to last week when I reached into my home mailbox. I found a package from Jason. In it was the most adorable dachshund pillowcase ever. I am touched that he thought of me and remembered my love for Sloopy after all of these years.

So, I made him this thank you card. The fun dachshund alphabet is from Cowtown Stamps, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers. The other part of the sentiment is from Honeybee Stamps. That's some fun washi tape along the bottom of the card.

Thanks so much, Jason! I'm so proud of the kindhearted soul you are.
Every now and then, I make a card I actually like. This is one of them.

I'm not sure why I waited an eternity to play with the A Jillian Vance Design Fringe Flower Die Set like I did. This card came together quickly. The coloring method is sponging Distress Inks onto scrap pieces of white cardstock and simply die-cutting.

You can read all about this card today on the AJVD blog.
It's July's Fab Friday at Tiddly Inks!

For my contribution, I made this card using the Tiddly Inks digital image of Light My Life. I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers. I then added the wave border along the bottom of the card cut with a Memory Box die. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and is from A Jillian Vance Design.
Not many people need a graduation card with a corgi on it. But when your best customer needs such a card, you make it.

The corgi is a digital image from Some Odd Girl. The graduation hat is from Avery Elle. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps. X-Press It cardstock was used, along with Copic markers.

Later in the week, I'll be back for Fab Friday with Tiddly Inks. Thanks for visiting my blog today.
There may be a time when you need a fishy notecard. If there is, you can easily use a balloon die to make the fish.

This card is a result of me just playing around with some supplies, using them in unexpected ways. If you'd like to read about this card....how I made the fish with Distress Oxides and two quick cuts with my scissors and the underwater scene using Distress Inks....you should swim on over to the A Jillian Vance Design Blog today. It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. The theme this month is Anything Goes, so you really have no excuse to not particpate.

This card features a digital image from the Tiddly Inks set Lovely YOUNicone and Unicorn. I printed the unicorn onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the unicorn with Copic markers. The letters are from a Penny Black alphabet stamp set and was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black. The "welcome" sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design and was also stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. I added a strip of washi tape near the bottom and a few white sequins to complete the card.

At first glance, this card might not make any sense. The reason behind the card doesn't make any sense either, but it is a real situation that angers me. A co-worker of mine, in order for her family to remain together, had to seek residence in Canada. The new administration terminated the immigration
program that allowed her husband to live and work in the US, and he was
ordered removed. He had been working in this country for several years. The reason there is a unicorn on the card is because she is moving to a street called Unicorn Street.

Canada, you're awesome. The US right now, not so much.Keciahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08492515483441976964noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7594611634541612593.post-12306987303464131452018-07-02T05:30:00.000-04:002018-07-02T05:30:00.838-04:00Patriotic Celebration

A week of patriotic celebrations. That's what's happening all around. I will probably stay in and read, lol. And shelter my Sloopy from the booms of the fireworks.
Whenever I have a baby card to make, I always "reach" (or should I say find the file on my computer?) for Tiddly Inks for cute baby images.

This card features the Tiddly Inks digital image of Baby Girl. She's just precious, don't you think? I printed her onto X-Press It cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. I fussy cut her and placed her onto a patterned paper cardfront (no clue the source). The cover-up die is from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design. I added three pink enamel dots to the design because they were amazingly the perfect match.
This card features an adorable dachshund image with a tennis ball. It is an oldie from Jessica Lynn Originals. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers. I paired this image with a sentiment from Gerda Steiner Designs.

This card served as this year's Father's Day card to my Dad. My Dad has a tennis ball that Sloopy desperately wants but cannot have. Mind you, there are other tennis balls for her. But she wants the one my Dad uses for exercising his hands.

He loved the card. He seemed to get a kick out of it. I love stretching my supplies and using them in unexpected ways. Here you will see a leaf image acting as trees in a distance. They were colored with Prismacolor pencils. The sun was sponged with SeaShells Conch Shell dye ink (yes, I still have that brand...this is my favorite yellow). The hill was drawn with a Micron pen.
It's time for another Tiddy Tuesday. We have a color challenge for the month. Go to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for all of the details and join in on the fun.

My card features the adorable digital image Wryn Fishing Expert. I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops and Nuvo Glitter Drops to the fish (I couldn't decide which to use so I used both, lol). The sentiment is from a set from Taylored Expressions and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. Can't have enough birthday cards, right?

Don't forget to head on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. You'll see there are a couple of very talented guest designers playing in all the fun.
This past weekend I made it into my stamp room to color this beautiful bouquet image from A Jillian Vance Design. It is from the stamp set Bloom. What fun I had with my Copic markers on this one. The sentiment was made from the Thanks DIEalogue Word Die, also from A Jillian Vance Design.
