First Digi

I'm usually pretty slow to try new things, so don't be surprised that this is my first time using a digital stamp.

This cute snail mail image was a freebie from Doodle Palace. And, may I report, it was an incredibly easy process. Just save, print and color. I was able to resize too. Go me! I guess I have been hesitant to jump into digital stamps because my computer/printer combo leaves a lot to be desired right now. That's a different story in itself.

Once I printed the image onto Georgia Pacific cardstock, I colored the image using Copic markers. I cut the image out. The heart was cut using my Cricut and dry embossed using my Cuttlebug. Patterned paper, colored cardstock, ribbon, paper piercer, and heart-shaped brads were also used to create this card.

This card is going into my Valentine's Day stash. Thanks for stopping by to look.
