Buckeye Valentine

AJVD, Kecia Waters, Ohio State, Valentine
Take a look at the Valentines you are giving out.  All of your Valentines should be Buckeye fans, don't you think?  And, I've got a Valentine card that's perfect for all who love the scarlet and gray.

This card was made using the technique of inlaid die-cutting.  All dies are from A Jillian Vance Design.  I just LOVE the Heart of Ohio Die Set.  A dream come true for us Buckeyes.

You can read all about this card on the AJVD blog today.  GO BUCKEYES!

Owl You Need is Love

Tiddly Inks, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, owl, Valentine's Day
It's another Fab Friday over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. Make sure to visit all of the Design Team goodness over there.  Lots of new Tiddly Inks images are being shown off.

My card though has an oldie but goodie image.  It is called Who Loves You?.  I still think it is so adorable and fun.  I printed the digital image onto X-Press It cardstock and then printed it again onto masking film.  I fussy cut the masking film to place over the X-Press It image.  I sponged the sky, ground and moon with various dye inks.  I then removed the mask and colored the image with Copic markers.  The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and is from A Jillian Vance Design.

Time to get in full gear with Valentine's Day cardmaking.  Tiddly Inks has some LOVE-ly images.  Go see.

Thanks SNOW Much

AJVD, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, snowman, thanks SNOW much
Brrrrr....it's cold!  How many days until spring?  Given the weather outside, a snowman on a card is still very current and acceptable.

This is a thank you card made with the Frosty Stamp and Die Collection from A Jillian Vance Design.  You can read all about this card today on the AJVD blog.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!  Stay warm!

A Helping Hand

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, Valentine, dog
Just one more day until Sassy Cheryl's has all of these fabulous new digital images in her shop.

Today, I bring to you the fourth and final image.  It is called "A Helping Hand".  I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  The side strip of patterned paper was simply a scrap I have been hoarding.  The heart was cut from a punch from this same scrap.  The sentiment is from an old There She Goes stamp set.  I thought it was appropriate to get out the Baker's Twine on this card since it looks like something wonderful is about to be whipped up.

And there you have it.  It has been a blast getting to show you the January release for Sassy Cheryl's.  Remember, it goes live tomorrow morning at 6:00 eastern.  This release will satisfy all of you Valentine's Day cardmaking needs, don't you think?!

Forget Me Not and some Mischieveous Mice

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, Valentine
Hello again!  And welcome to Day 2 of the January release from Sassy Cheryl's

Today, I get to share two more digital images from the release.

The card above features the digital image of "Forget Me Not".  It will be available at 6:00 AM Eastern on Sunday, January 7.  This particular image was so much fun to color, especially that tree.  I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers.  The die "you" is from Taylored Expressions and "are loved" is from Simon Says Stamp.  The heart is a punch.

The next new image featured on the above card is called "Mischievous Mice".  Appropriate name, huh?  I printed the darling image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  The sentiment and the two coffee beans are from A Jillian Vance Design.

Tomorrow, I'll have one more card to share from the January release.  Here's a sneak peek....

Share and Share Alike

Sassy Cheryl's, Kecia Waters, Copic markers
Get ready!  Sassy Cheryl's is releasing four new digital images.  They are so sweet and adorable.  You will want them all.

I am honored to share the first one with you.  It is called "Share and Share Alike".  It will be available for purchase at 6:00 AM Eastern on Sunday, January 7th.

To make this card, I printed the image of "Share and Share Alike" onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from an old There She Goes stamp set and was stamped with Marvy Black dye ink.  I kept it rather CAS and just adhered the image panel to some kraft cardstock.  Sort of a vintage feel, if you will.

I'll be back again tomorrow with two more images from the release.  In the meantime, here's a tease for one of them...

Best Chapter of My Life

Tiddly Inks, Kecia Waters, reading, books, Valentine's Day, Copic markers
We're back!  The Tiddly Inks Design Team got some rest and relaxation, but now we are ready to make 2018 a great year.

Our first challenge is an "Anything Goes" challenge.  You know, we got to ease back into things.  We hope you join us.  All of the details are over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

I decided to feature the adorable Tiddly Inks digital image "Sweet Dreams Wryn".  Doesn't she look all warm and cozy?  With this cold weather, I'm thinking she has the right idea.  I printed the image onto X-Press it cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers.  The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.  I wanted this card to work for Valentine's Day.  What do you think?

Thanks so much for visiting my blog.  I hope you come back for more visits during 2018.  I do appreciate your time and comments very much.
