"Owl" Be Honored To Do So
I am still in a bit of a shock. A few weeks ago, THE Anna Wight asked me to be a Featured Designer for her new cling mount rubber stamps being released today by Whipper Snapper Designs. Unbelievable, still to this day.
Because I immediately answered Anna with a resounding "YES!", I have had the opportunity to play with a great cling mount set called "Happy Haunting" for the past couple weeks. The little creatures are so fun to work with and offer so many possibilities in helping to create the perfect "spook-tacular" Halloween greeting.
To create this card I'm sharing with you today, I cut a circle panel from a sheet of Neenah solar white cardstock with a circle Nestabilities die. I made a smaller circle mask from a post it note and sponged around the smaller circle with Adirondack Sunset Orange, Vivid Butterscotch, and Marvy English Red dye inks. Then I took the negative of the smaller circle mask and sponged SeaShells Conch Shell dye ink. I then sliced the circle with plans to use the straight edge along the side of the card.
I stamped Anna's adorable owl on a branch with Marvy Black dye ink onto Neenah solar white cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers. I then cut around the image and placed the image onto my sponged circle.
Black cardstock and patterned paper from Scrappin' Sports and More and Lasting Impressions were used to create panels for this card.
The sentiment, also from the cling mount set, was stamped onto another panel of Neenah solar white cardstock panel cut and embossed with a Nestabilities die.
Some orange rhinestones from Studio18 were used to give the card some finishing bling.
Make sure you go see some of the other fun creations being made with all of Anna's new sets in the Whipper Snapper Featured Designer Gallery on Splitcoast.
