Study Buddies

This week I am hostessing the challenge on the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog.  I chose the theme of "School Days".  I hope you play along because one lucky participant will get two free Sassy Cheryl's images.

I chose this theme because I have been waiting way to long to color this image.  It is called "Study Buddies" and is from the Sassy Cheryl's set "Study Buddies and Lettering".  I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored it with Copic markers.

I framed the image panel with black cardstock.  The larger card panel is patterned paper from Little Yellow Bicycle.  It too is framed with black cardstock.

A black button was added, along with Buckeye Blend Twine from a jillian vance design.

Am I allowed to say I love this card?  I think the talented Sassy Cheryl made this image with me in mind...I am a reading teacher and I love football, hence the jersey.  Coloring this was long overdue, but well worth the wait.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!

That is the prettiest red bow I have ever seen. Your coloring really rocks girl, even if you are a Buckeye! Thanks for choosing such a fun challenge.
