Spring Flower

I'm thinking I forget what spring even looks like or feels like.  The only spring happening around here is what is happening in my stamp room.  So, glad that Repeat Impressions Rock Star Geri Utterback challenged us with a theme of "Spring Flowers" for the latest Designer's Choice Challenge.  Every little flower I color will get us one step closer to spring, right?  You can read all about this challenge on the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built.

To make this card, I stamped the Repeat Impressions image of "Nap Time Fairy" (4303-M) onto X-Press It cardstock with Marvy black dye ink.  I colored the image with Copic markers and cut around the image with my Cutter-bee scissors.

Patterned paper from Lasting Impressions, framed with black cardstock was placed onto a white cardstock panel.  The flower was pop-dotted over it.  The sentiment is a portion of a Repeat Impressions sentiment called "Dream, Inspire, Hope" (3101-J) that I inked with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker.  Three small black brads were added to the card, along with a small strip of sheer white ribbon.

Make sure you visit the other Rock Stars to see their spring time flowers.  It will be a pleasant walk through a flower garden.  Take time to stop and smell the flowers from:
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!
