It's Wednesday, which means it is time for a "What If? Wednesday Sketch". You have two weeks to enter your card using the sketch posted on the Repeat Impressions blog...The House That Stamps Built. All participants will have a chance to win a $25 Repeat Impressions gift certificate. I hope you'll play along with us.
This week the sketch looks like this:
Taking a little liberty with the sketch, I proceeded to make this card by stamping the Repeat Impressions image of "Just Hatched" (1310-G) with Marvy black dye ink onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers and then cut around it with detailed scissors.
To make the little chick's scene, I cut the sky and the grass from patterned paper from Echo Park. The grass is cut with a MFT die-namics. I framed the scene with black cardstock. Patterned paper from Bella Blvd was used for the larger panel, also framed with black cardstock. The clouds were cut from this same Bella Blvd paper.
Sheer white ribbon, a bow, a white button, and a small piece of Baker's Twine put the finishing touches on this card.
Make sure you visit the other Rock Stars to see their sketch interpretations:
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today.
