Duck Umbrella

I had a lot of fun playing with these bright spring colors on this card.  Perhaps, I'm in trouble since spring is soooo far away.   The Ohio gray skies are here for a bit, I'm afraid.

To make this card, I stamped the Hambo image of "Duck Umbrella" (4716) with Marvy black dye ink onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic markers.  I cut around the image with my Cutterbee scissors.  To make the water droplets on the umbrella, I added gluestick to the umbrella and sprinkled clear UTEE onto the umbrella and heated with my heat gun.  So fun to watch those droplets appear!

I cut a circle from white cardstock with a Nestabilities die.  I sponged SeaShells Cloudy Blue dye to form some clouds.  I framed this circle with another circle cut with a Nestabilities die.  I pop-dotted the duck to the finished circle.

The layers of this card are made with patterned paper from Pebbles, Queen&Company and Bella Blvd.  I stamped the Hambo sentiment of "Sunshine and Happiness" (4704) with Marvy black dye onto the Queen&Company strip.  I added some Baker's Twine to this panel.  I added three clear crystal beads to the Pebbles strip.  The large Bella Blvd panel was framed with white cardstock.

Okay...back to winter.  :-(
