Pelican's Scoop

I am now working with Hambo's rubber stamps for the next two months.  I am very excited to introduce you to "Pelican" (4912) .  Isn't he a cutie?

I stamped "Pelican" (4912) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It paper.  I colored him with Copic markers.  I cut around him with my Cutter-bee scissors.  I decided he needed a post to stand on, so I made that with a scrap of textured white cardstock, swiped with all kinds of beige/brown dye inks such as SeaShells Peach Bellini, Adirondack Latte, and Distress It Old Paper.

For the ocean, I cut a circle with a Nestabilities die cut and used Copic markers to make the scene.  Some highlights with a white Uniball Signo pen make the white caps and a Memento Tuxedo Black maker made the birds in the distance.

I placed my scene onto a piece of Jillibean Soup patterned paper.  The sentiment is from Hambo as well.  It is called "The Scoop" (0522).  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut it apart and arranged it onto my card.

White cardstock and kraft cardstock cut from a Nestabilities die form the additional layers to this card.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today.  I do appreciate you taking time out of this busy time of year to do so.
