A Tag with a Wag

Repeat Impressions Rock Star Patti Gilliam challenged us to make either a tag or a bag for the latest Designer's Choice Challenge.  You can read all about this challenge on the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built.

I'm so grateful for this particular challenge because I hardly ever make tags, and there really is no excuse to not make them.  They are so much fun and so versatile.  The one I made for this challenge I can see it hanging on a gift bag for Sloopy, or better yet perhaps a gift from Sloopy to me.  ;-)

I stamped the Repeat Impressions image of "Wagging Pup" (8106-I) with Marvy black dye onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored the dog with Copic markers and cut around the image with my Cutterbee scissors. I added the Santa hat to the dog, by cutting red and white paper from a Memory Box die.

I then cut a tag using a Nestabilities die cut from patterned paper from Jillibean Soup and a piece of white cardstock for the snow (simply torn).  I pop-dotted the doggie to the tag, and added a sheer white ribbon.

Don't miss other great creations from the Rock Stars.  Great tags and bags to see!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!
