Tooth Fairy

(If you are looking for the Repeat Impressions Designer's Choice Challenge, scroll down)

It's Hambo Hoedown Time!

For this week's challenge, we are to incorporate hexagons into our creation with a Hambo image.  Good thing I had some new patterned paper from Echo Park with a hexagon pattern on it!

For my card, I printed Hambo's digital image of "Tooth Fairy" (don't you love the 5 o'clock shadow???) onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic markers and cut around the image with Cutterbee scissors.  I added some glitter highlights with some Crystal Stickles.

I don't have a hexagon die (yet...I may need to remedy that), so I printed a hexagon from this site onto some Echo Park patterned paper and cut it out.  I pop dotted the Tooth Fairy image onto the hexagon.  This hexagon was then placed onto a panel of patterned paper from Echo Park.  It was framed with black cardstock, and then with some more Echo Park paper.

The sentiment is one of three sentiments included with the Hambo's Tooth Fairy.  I printed it and framed it with black cardstock.

I hope you can join in on all of the fun with us at the Hoedown this week. All of the challenge details can be found right here on the Hoedown Blog.  Remember you must use Hambo images to play along...but that's easy to do (there are some freebies here if you don't have any). If you play along this week, you will be sent next week's Hoedown image for free.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!

AHHH! I read this too late. I don't own a hexagon shape either. I love the bright colors you've used...such a fun card.
