It's Hambo Hoedown Time!
For this week's challenge, we are to watercolor a Hambo image So, I broke
out my very neglected Peerless Watercolors to give it a try.
I printed the Hambo digital stamp of "Walrus" onto Northwoods parchment paper. I then watercolored the image with my Peerless Watercolors. I added some "Oyster" Twinkling H20s onto ice the walrus is sitting on.
The hilarious sentiment is from the Walrus digital stamp. I cut the around the sentiment with a Nestabilities die and then placed it onto the image panel.
The large card panel is made from patterned paper from My Mind's Eye. It is framed with kraft, along with the image. A corner rounder punch was used to round the corners. A button tied with hemp was added to complete the details of this card.
I hope you can join in on all of the fun with us at the Hoedown this week. All of the challenge details can be found right here on the Hoedown Blog. Remember you must use Hambo images to play along...but that's easy to do (there are some freebies here if you don't have any). If you play along this week, you will be sent next week's Hoedown image for free.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog!

This is just darling! I love your water and little scene. Fab coloring too!
Kecia, the coloring on this card is outstanding, I think watercoloring is just the hardest thing but you totally nailed it, and that design paper goes perfect, it is fabulous.
Great watercoloring! Didn't know hambo had a walrus, was just reading a story about two baby walruses online who have found new homes in two different zoos. :) Cute, cute card.
Such a great card. You've used the watercolors so beautifully.
Oh, I just love your water coloring. And the background paper is so awesome, too. Thank for sharing.
