Classy Sunflower

It's Wednesday, which means it is time for a "What If? Wednesday Sketch".  You have two weeks to enter your card using the sketch posted on the Repeat Impressions blog...The House That Stamps Built.  All participants will have a chance to win a $25 Repeat Impressions gift certificate.  I hope you'll play along with us.

This week's sketch looks like this:

I stamped the image of "Sunflower" (4313-K) with Marvy black dye ink onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic markers and then cut around the flower with my Cutter-bee scissors.

Using GORGEOUS patterned paper from Scrapper Dashery, I formed the layout of this card, with each panel being framed by brown cardstock.   Really, this paper is doing all of the beautiful work on this card...I take no credit.  Being the rebel that I am, I "moved" the three circles to the right side of the card.  I used brown brads.  I then added a sheer brown ribbon to the area that the smaller strip of the layout is located.  The sunflower was then adhered to the card, placed over the two rectangular panels.

Be sure to check out what the other Rock Stars created for this Sketch Challenge.

Have a great day!  Thanks so much for visiting my blog.
