Bird Balloon

It's Hambo Hoedown time!

This week, the challenge is "Chevron".  I used this bright, fun patterned paper from Stella & Rose to meet this requirement.

I chose to work with the Hambo digital image called "Bird Balloon".  I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored it with Copic markers.  Using the out-of-the-box technique, I cut the image panel with a Nestabilities oval die.  I paper pierced around this oval as well.  I framed the image panel with burnt orange cardstock.

Then using the patterned paper from Stella & Rose, I made the large card panel.  Paper piercing was done, as well as faux stitching with a color pencil.  This panel was framed with burnt orange cardstock. 

The Hambo sentiment comes with the digital image of "Bird Balloon"  It too was framed with the burnt orange cardstock.  A sheer beige bow was placed onto the card as a final touch to the card.
