Happy Birthday, Tim!

(If you are here for the Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge, scroll down)

We are dedicating this week's Hambo Hoedown to Tim!  Tim is the guy with the pencil at Hambo Stamps.  He's the illustrator for all of the fun images we use each week.  Happy Birthday, Tim!

For this week's Hoedown we are being challenged to use the burned edges/soot technique OR incorporate a checkerboard design or gingham into our creation.  I went with the latter option since I'm rather clumsy and could just see myself catching something on fire, LOL!

For my card, I printed the Hambo digital image of "Toaster" onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic markers and cut around it with my Cutterbee scissors.

Patterned paper from Hot Off The Press was used to created the card panel.  I paper pierced around the panel and faux-stitched with a colored pencil. The panel was framed with black cardstock.

Black and white gingham ribbon was used on this card.

The sentiment is one of three included in the Hambo digital image of "Toaster".  I framed it with black cardstock.

I hope you can join in on all of the fun with us at the Hoedown this week. All of the challenge details can be found right here on the Hoedown Blog.  Remember you must use Hambo images to play along...but that's easy to do (there are some freebies here if you don't have any). If you play along this week, you will be sent next week's Hoedown image for free.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!
