Santa Paws

It's Wednesday, which means it is time for a "What If? Wednesday Sketch".  You have two weeks to enter your card using the sketch posted on the Repeat Impressions blog...The House That Stamps Built.  All participants will have a chance to win a $25 Repeat Impressions gift certificate.  I hope you'll play along with us.

This week's sketch looks like this:

As you can see, I was rather liberal with my sketch interpretation.  I tilted the sketch by 90 degrees.  I changed the banner-like strip to a bone (cut by my Cricut with the "Paper Pups" cartridge), and I let the dog take the square's place.

I stamped the Repeat Impressions image of "Wagging Pup" (8106-I) with Marvy black dye onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored the dog with Copic markers and cut around the image with my Cutterbee scissors. I added the Santa hat to the dog, by cutting red and white paper from a Memory Box die.

The bone was cut from kraft, and the large layer of patterned paper is from Bella Blvd, rounded with a corner punch and framed with kraft paper.

Want to see some more cards using this sketch?  Just head on over to the following Rock Stars:

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!
