Touchdown, Buckeyes!
Though the subject matter of this card should be of no surprise, I'm thinking the style of this card certainly is a departure for me. But, I believe that getting out of my stamping comfort zone every once and a while is important to my overall growth as a stamper...so, when I saw the Clean and Simple Challenge, CAS83, on Splitcoast earlier this week, I went with it. The challenge was to use this particular CAS layout/sketch in a card.
I stamped the referee image from Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers onto Georgia Pacific cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I colored his face and hands using Copic markers (which took all of about 20 seconds). I cut this image out, and then placed it on the card panel. The square panels were made from Ohio State patterned paper and scarlet cardstock framed with black cardstock. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday.
And there you have it. I hope the Buckeyes' upcoming game against Miami on Saturday is this "clean and simple", LOL.
