Egg Artist
Isn't she sweet? Callie is getting a head start on the egg coloring that needs to get done for Easter. And speaking of coloring, she was a blast to color.
Callie is from the digital stamp set "Callie's Busy Day" from Sassy Cheryl's. I colored her with Copic markers and framed the image with pink cardstock. The patterned paper panel is from American Crafts and it too is framed with pink cardstock. I added a sheer pink bow, pink button, and Baker's Twine to complete the card.
You still have just a little bit of time to play in the two week challenge "Anything Goes" over at the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge blog. You could win two free digital images of your choice.

Praying Bunny
I'm pleased to be bringing you this adorable "Praying Bunny" from DRS Designs. I paired it with "Blooming Easter Greeting".
To make this card, I stamped the image with Memento Desert Sand dye ink onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image using Copic markers using the no lines technique. The sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.
A punch rounded the corners.
I placed the image panel onto kraft cardstock, and added a sheer white ribbon, button and Baker's Twine for the finishing touches.

Ladybug Flower
It's Tuesday! And it is a Tuesday where another challenge on the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog begins. The theme for this two week challenge is "Anything Goes", so not matter what you make, it'll work this time around. Two free digital images will be awarded to a random participant, so get busy!
I need spring, so I decided to created this card using "Ladybug Flower" from the Sassy Cheryl's digital set of "Whoopsie, Bears and Flowers". And I decided to use my neglected Prismacolor pencils on this one (no gamsol). I simply printed the image onto Georgia Pacific cardstock, colored with my Prismacolor pencils, and spray with workable fixative.
I framed the image with black cardstock and placed on a card panel of patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs. I added some Baker's Twine and a white button.
Come on, Spring! Get here! We welcome you with open arms, LOL!
Have a great week.

Sending Happy Thoughts of Spring
My camera wasn't very cooperative in capturing the pink card panel, but I thought I'd share this with you any way. I'm thinking most of you would take any thing spring related at this point. WHEN WILL THIS WINTER EVER END?
I cut a circle with a Nestabilities die. I paper pierced around the circle.
I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Sunshine set, also from A Jillian Vance Design, Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a strip of white cardstock.
I arranged and adhered all elements onto patterned paper (sorry, source unknown). I paper pierced this larger panel and rounded the corners with a punch. I added three white brads.
I'm going to keep making springtime cards. It's got to work eventually, right?!

Balancing Act
February is usually a pretty busy month for me, but as I look ahead to March, I'm thinking March may indeed win the title of "the busiest month". I will need to truly balance and juggle some demands, that's for sure.
To make this card, I used the adorable Sassy Cheryl's digital image of "Dr. Seuss You Say?". I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. This very CAS design simply has a strip of patterned paper from The Paper Studio along the side of the card. The sentiment is from There She Goes.
Don't forget...Sassy Chery's Challenge blog has a two week challenge going on right now. The challenge is to use a punch or die cut. Make sure you play along before Monday night.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today.

Ice Cream for Two
I'm beyond honored to be guest designing today for High Hopes. I have been a long time fan of their adorable images.
They have a weekly challenge blog. This week the theme is "Animals". I highly encourage you to play along. A random winner will be selected for a free rubber stamp and a chance to guest design in a future challenge.
For my card, I stamped the image "Ice Cream for Two" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers and cut the circle with a Nestabilities circle die.
I framed patterned paper from Echo Park with kraft for the various layers to this card. The sentiment is from a Studio G dollar stamp. A cute little bone clip completes the details on this card.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, and thanks to High Hopes for the fun!

Be Happy
Want a reason to "Be Happy"? Here's one...you can find a new challenge on the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog. The newest challenge is to use a punch and/or die in your creation. Easy enough. Make sure you play along for your chance to win two free digital stamps from Sassy Cheryl's.
For my card, I printed the Sassy Cheryl's image of "Just Be Yourself" onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut around Sally.
The panels of the card include a piece of white cardstock stamped with the A Jillian Vance Design's Sunburst Swirl using Adirondack Sunshine Yellow dye. The larger panel is patterned paper from Basic Grey.
Using a die-namics die from My Favorite Things, I cut the smiley face and the phrase "Be Happy".
Have a great week! Don't forget to BE HAPPY!
