Hot Air Balloon Cluster

It's Wednesday, which means it is time for a "What If? Wednesday Sketch".  You have two weeks to enter your card using the sketch posted on the Repeat Impressions blog...The House That Stamps Built.  All participants will have a chance to win a $25 Repeat Impressions gift certificate.  I hope you'll play along with us.

This week the sketch looks like this:

And as you can see, I was inspired by the sketch, but omitted the lines going across the card, and added a ribbon and bow going down along the side of the card.  I am very sketch challenged indeed.

For this card, I stamped the Repeat Impressions image of "Hot Air Balloon Cluster" (9116-N) with Marvy black dye onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored the balloons with Copic markers and then cut them out.  I cut a circle using a Nestabilities die and added "clouds" with Copic markers.  I stamped the cluster again directly onto this circle and pieced the scene together, pop-dotting two of the balloons to give them dimension and show distance. Around the circle I added cream "pearls" using my Viva Pearl Pen.

The large card panel is from Darcie.  Sheer yellow ribbon and bow were added to the card.  The sentiment is also from Repeat Impressions.  It is called "Wishing You Adventures" (9107-I) and was stamped using Versafine Onyx Black.

Make sure you venture over to the other Rock Stars to see their much better interpretations of this sketch, LOL!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!
