Stampin' Sisterhood, Pink Tree

It's Sunday! Time for another Rubbernecker Stampin' Sisterhood Challenge! Remember, if you play along with us this week, you will have chance to win a FREE STAMP from Rubbernecker and be queened Sunday Sister. And, at the end of each month, all the month's Sunday Sisters will be put in a random drawing to win a STAMP SET from Rubbernecker Stamps! Head on over the the Stampin' Sisterhood's blog for all of the details.

This week's challenge is an inspiration photo:

For my card, I cut and embossed a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock with a Nestabilities circle die. I stamped the very versatile tree from the Fall Harvest - Kittie Kit Cause A Scene (SKU:KKCS S009) with Marvy black dye ink. I colored the trunk of the tree with Copic markers. I then sponged Marvy English Red dye ink onto the branches of the tree. I sponged SeaShells Cloudy Blue dye ink for the clouds, and then sponged more Marvy English Red dye ink onto the ground. With a Zig Color Brush Twin Tickled Pink marker, I drew in grass blades on the ground, and added some buds to the tree branches. I highlighted the tree blossoms and grass with Crystal Stickles.

I stamped the Rubbernecker sentiment "Thinking of You" (SKU:565-10) with Marvy black dye ink. I then paper pierced around the circle scene.

The scene was then framed with patterned paper from Me and My Big Ideas cut from a Nestabilities die. I added a sheer white ribbon and a pink rhinestone brad for the finishing touches.

We hope you can join us this week. Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. Have a very pleasant rest of the weekend.
