Clovers

(Scroll down or click here if you are looking for the Stampin' Sisterhood Hop.)

Top of the morning to ya! It's Monday! It's time for another challenge on the Outlines Challenge Blog. This week our challenge is the theme of St. Patrick's Day. I guess you can say we're going green. Make sure you play along with us this week for your chance to win a $25 gift certificate from the Outlines Rubber Stamp Company.

For my card this week, I couldn't resist using this awesome image from Outlines called "Sketchy Clovers" (H-1018). I stamped it onto X-Press It cardstock with Marvy black dye ink. I colored the image with Copic markers (the clouds too were made with Copics). I then framed the image with black cardstock and white cardstock. The card panel is made from a piece of patterned paper from The Paper Studio. I paper pierced around this panel and used a white Prismacolor pencil to faux stitch. A strip of rainbow patterned paper (sorry, source unknown...it was a scrap) was added along the near side of the card. Clear green and light green buttons were added to the card, along with a bow made from Peapod Green Baker's Twine.

I hope you will take a look at what the rest of the design team made this week. You'll be seeing green.

I thank you for visiting my blog today. Making this card reminded me 'tis the season for Shamrock Shakes at McDonald's. I do think I'm going to go indulge in some minty green happiness in a cup!
