Last snow card....I PROMISE. I'm quite sick of the stuff. This card is a result of me having the stuff on my desk from yesterday's card, and remembering that I had a cool birch tree die from Taylored Expressions.
The cardinal and sentiment are from A Jillian Vance Design. To make this card, I did everything like yesterday's card. I'm thinking this would be an easy Christmas card to do for the masses.
I think I'm going to do some green grass, flowers and sunshine cards. SICK OF THIS WINTER!

Warmest Wishes Sloopy
I know I vowed not to make any more cards with snow, but when I saw today's MIX108 Challenge on Splitcoast I just had to go back on my word. I've also been quite inspired by Sloopy lately. She has been going out in this arctic tundra to do her business, quite quickly. Proud of her.
Here's how I made this card:
On a kraft base, I sponged white acrylic paint. I added a white cardstock strip for the snowy ground. I sponged more white acrylic paint onto a scrap piece of kraft, and with Versafine Onyx Black I stamped the birch trees from A Jillian Vance Design. I highlighted these trees a bit with Copic markers, then fussy cut.
The dachshund was made with a die from Poppy Stamps/Memory Box. I used some text from an old textbook and did some highlighting on the dachshund with a Copic marker. The slight shadows from the trees and dog were made with a Copic marker.
I sponged some Scattered Straw and Wild Honey Distress Inks onto the panel to create the sun. The sentiment is also from A Jillian Vance Design and was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
The scene was framed with black and white cardstocks.
Try to stay warm everyone! I promise to quickly return to some spring/summer cards in an attempt to warm us up!

Mouse Sweets
This has to be be one of my all-time favorite images from Whipper Snapper. It is called "Mouse Sweets". I think it is insanely cute. I've had it for years and used to be rather intimidated by it. I'm not as much nowadays. Practice makes acceptable, not perfect.
Colored with Copics, patterned paper by Bo Bunny, and flag cut with a MFT die-namics die, some sparkle compliments of Stickles and Wink-of-Stella.
I'm now kind of jealous of this little mouse, LOL. I could go for something sweet right about now.

Sew Thankful
It is rather humorous to me that I made this card, given I can't even thread a needle or sew on a button to save my life. Perhaps, I should give this card to my seamstress, LOL. If I ever have a seamstress.
Anyway, I am SEW THANKFUL to have a three day weekend!
You can read all about this card on the A Jillian Vance Design blog today. It is a result of me playing around with the AJVD set "I'll Be Darned", watching too many videos by Sandy Allnock, and deciding it was time to play with my neglected Derwent Inktense Pencils. I. must. get. over. this. learning. curve. using. them.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! Another post tomorrow, so come back. Coloring is all one can do when it is freaking freezing outside.

Totally Tubular Temperatures
I stamped the Cheryl Grant image from the Kraftin Kimmie stamp set "Totally Tubular" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers, and added some highlights with Diamond Glaze. The patterned paper is from Queen & Company. Little sun brads, a button and Baker's Twine serve as some embellishments. The sentiment is also from "Totally Tubular" from Kraftin' Kimmie.
Stay warm everyone! I'm a bit envious of this little guy on my card.

Luigi
This could very well be Valentine's Day Dinner delivered to our door if it doesn't stop snowing. Two years in a row on Valentine's Day the weather has been crap.
This card was made using the image of "Luigi" from High Hopes. Stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock. I fussy cut around the image and placed on a panel of patterned paper from Me & My Big Ideas. The sentiment was computer generated and cut with a die from A Jillian Vance Design.
Created for the monthly challenge on the High Hopes Challenge Blog, #152 Anything High Hopes Goes.
Love snow is in the air.

What the Fox
I'm loving this fox from the adorable stamp set from A Jillian Vance Design called "Out Foxed" designed by Whimsie Doodles. Though I could have easily made a snow scene, I'm just done with it. I thought lets see some blades of grass. Spring has got to be on the way, right? What did the groundhog fox say this morning, LOL.
All the deets for this card can be found on my post on the A Jillian Vance Design blog. Go see.

Love Letter
Let me share another Valentine I made using the Sassy Cheryl's digital image of "Letter Sent With Love". I'm just loving this image!
I printed "Letter Sent With Love" onto Hammermill Copy Paper. I also printed the image on masking film, to create a mask. I sponged some Distress Ink Spun Sugar for the background, and flicked a few drops of ink from a Tombow Marker. Then, I had my weekend fun of coloring the image with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Rubber Stampede and only a portion of it was stamped with Versafine Onxy Black. The heart was cut with a Nestabilities die, and colored with a Copic marker. A Wink-of-Stella pen provides a little sparkle on heart and her hair bow. The patterned paper is from American Crafts.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! I hope you have a Super Sunday. I could care less about this year's Super Bowl. But, I will have my annual taco soup and be happy.
