So Sloopy

Lynne Stansbery, Kecia Waters, Halloween, Copic markers
I have been a long time admirer of Lynne Stansbery's work on Squigglefly, and especially of this digital image "Come and Get It".  It is so Sloopy.  My little girl can sit and stare and cry for treats for as long as it takes for me to give in to her, LOL.

I must say that this image was easy to color as well, though it looks intimidating.  Lynne Stansbery has already done the shading, so all I did was apply the Copics.  I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copics.  With a Prismacolor pencil, I drew the jack-o-lantern face onto the bowl.  I framed the image with black cardstock and put onto a kraft card front.

The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design's "Frank N. Candy" by Whimsie Doodles.  It was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.

Special thanks to the sweet Nancy Williams for her adorable card that introduced me to this amazing image in her Splitcoast gallery..."Treats Not Treats".  I haven't forgotten it since.  She inspired me to use it as a Halloween image.  So fun!

This card is for the new challenge on the Squigglefly blog.  The challenge is to make a Halloween card or a card for fall.  Easy, since those of the most fun to make.  Join us!
