Brrr!
So, it is supposed to be in the mid-70's today, and wouldn't you know I'm sharing my first winter card of the season, LOL.
This adorable penguin is from the A Jillian Vance Design stamp set "Brrr" designed by Whimsie Doodles. I know I'm going to have some fun with this cute set. This card is only the beginning, LOL.
You can read all about how I made this card over on the A Jillian Vance Design blog.
For the record, I would like it to be mid-70's for the rest of the year. Just sayin'.
Have a terrific week, and thanks so much for visiting my blog.

Square-y Witch Card
This witch is casting a spell over you...you will now go to the A Jillian Vance Design blog to read all about this card, LOL.
I told you I did lots of coloring this weekend. I'm as pleased as punch on how this one turned out. I'm liking the colors.
Have a super fabulous week. If I end up having a fabulous week, I'll be back with some more cards. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

So Sloopy
I have been a long time admirer of Lynne Stansbery's work on Squigglefly, and especially of this digital image "Come and Get It". It is so Sloopy. My little girl can sit and stare and cry for treats for as long as it takes for me to give in to her, LOL.
I must say that this image was easy to color as well, though it looks intimidating. Lynne Stansbery has already done the shading, so all I did was apply the Copics. I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copics. With a Prismacolor pencil, I drew the jack-o-lantern face onto the bowl. I framed the image with black cardstock and put onto a kraft card front.
The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design's "Frank N. Candy" by Whimsie Doodles. It was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black.
Special thanks to the sweet Nancy Williams for her adorable card that introduced me to this amazing image in her Splitcoast gallery..."Treats Not Treats". I haven't forgotten it since. She inspired me to use it as a Halloween image. So fun!
This card is for the new challenge on the Squigglefly blog. The challenge is to make a Halloween card or a card for fall. Easy, since those of the most fun to make. Join us!

Prize Pumpkin
I have been a coloring machine this weekend and have loved every minute. Let me share this card using Sassy Cheryl's adorable "Sally's Prize Pumpkin". Isn't she just adorable and happy?
You know the drill...printed on X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and is from an old Michael's $1 stamp (I throw nothing away, I tell ya!).
Hope you've had a wonderful fall weekend. Hi, ho, hi, ho...back to work I go! Some more posts tomorrow, so return to this blog to see the results of my self-proclaimed coloring holiday, LOL!

Funny Card with a Ring of Truth
Doesn't this sentiment ring true? LOL. This is the latest card I made using the A Jillian Vance Design stamp set "Oh Nuts" by Whimsie Doodles. I also used AJVD's {die}velop Foto Frames and {die}alogue Bubble Die Set. You can read all the deets about this card over on the A Jillian Vance Design Blog.
Have a great week, all! Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!

Wicked Halloween Greetings
How sad is it going to be when this month is over and I can't make fun Halloween cards? I guess it will be on to Christmas at that point, LOL.
Today on the A Jillian Vance Design blog, I have a post about this card I made using the stamp set "Broom Rides" by Whimsie Doodles. Hope you fly on over and take a look!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today. Busy week ahead...I hope to be back eventually, LOL.
Home Run Hitter
This is one of Cheryl Grant's newest images called "Home Run Hitter". Perhaps you don't think about baseball in the fall, but those that are diehard fans (not me!) make a big deal about baseball in October. I know because I have a husband that lives and breathes baseball. And we're still together, LOL.
I made this card for the current challenge on the Squigglefly Blog. The challenge is Leaves, as in fall leaves or things that leave. This baseball is bound to leave the park, right? LOL.
I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The image panel was cut using a Nestabilities die, as was the black cardstock circle frame. The pennant is from a scrap piece of patterned paper from The Paper Studio and was cut with a Memory Box die. The pennant flag was cut from MFT Die-namics, and the sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmies. The baseball is from There She Goes. I paper pierced around the image, and the larger piece of patterned paper is from K&Company. I paper pierced and faux-stitched with a colored pencil.
For now, I'm outta here...just like this baseball.

Bountiful Blessing
Here's a card featuring a new image from Sassy Cheryl's called "Bountiful Blessing". I paired it with an old sentiment from MFT.
X-Press It cardstock, Copic markers, Nestabilities, patterned paper from Basic Grey, kraft cardstock and a paper piercer are the ingredients for this particular card.
Have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for visiting my blog today!
