Circle of Orange Tulips

So I continue to relax, and make cards. Doesn't get much better than that.

Today, I was able to participate in Splitcoast's Color Challenge, #370, which is to use the colors Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight. Not having Stampin' Up colors, I used Copic markers to color my image and stay as true as I could to the colors. The desert option was to use florals.

I inked up an image from Northwoods called "Circle Tulips" using Marvy black dye ink onto Curious Metallics Cryogen White. I colored the image with Copic markers, and then cut around the circle. I placed the circle onto a a piece of Cryogen white cut from a Nestabilities die. I then placed the image onto a piece of patterned paper from Graphic 45. Lace and a gold ribbon embellish the card, though hopefully not taking away from the gorgeous tulips image.

And so, this is probably going to serve as a Mother's Day card. Into the stash it goes.
