So Sweet

Not only am I craving sweets in real life, I guess I needed to get a sugar fix through paper crafting too (a lot less calories that way). I wanted to do something small so I could check to see if I still remember how to color (yes, it had been that long), while making something that could be used for Valentine's Day.

I stamped the adorable cupcake from Starving Artistamps with Marvy black dye ink onto a scrap of Georgia Pacific cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers. A little sparkle from a Sakura glitter pen was used on the cupcake sprinkles. I then turned to the current Mojo Monday challenge, MOJO171, for the layout. Patterned paper from My Favorite Things, white cardstock, white cardstock colored with a Copic marker and ran through the Cuttlebug with an embossing folder, and red cardstock were used, along with some help from some Nestabilities dies. The sentiment is computer-generated, and some white gel pen dots were places around the scallops. A ribbon was added and secured with a heart-shaped brad.

So fun to create something just for fun! Thanks for visiting today!
