Peace on Earth Pets

I am delighted to share this card with you today. I really, really like how it turned out. Am I allowed to say that?

To make this card, I used two of Anna Wight's cling mount sets from Whipper Snapper Designs...one being the current new release of "Got Mistletoe?" for the sentiment, and the other being previously released "Cozy Critters".

I stamped the adorable dog and cat from "Cozy Critters" with Marvy black dye ink onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored the images with Copic markers. I cut around both of these images with my Cutter-bee scissors.

Then, with a Nestabilities circle die I cut a circle from a piece of patterned paper from Karen Foster Designs. I then sponged on Adirondack Willow dye ink to appear like land forms on the earth. I then sponged Adirondack Sailboat Blue dye ink onto a panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock and then placed my "planet earth" and my cat and dog onto the earth. I stamped the sentiment from "Got Mistletoe?" with Marvy black dye ink onto the earth. A white gel pen supplied the stars in the sky.




This card makes me smile. I'm thinking it might just be my Christmas card design for next year, so if I send you a Christmas card next year, act surprised, like you've never seen this.

Speaking of Christmas cards, I must *BEGIN* this year's card, so I apologize ahead of time if I don't blog for a few days. I've got to get them started, and I promise to share the results of my efforts when the time is right. Also, I'll bop in to share any tangent I go off on in my creative efforts.
