Shameless CASE of the Laura Bassen. 'Cause when I saw her card, I pretty much knew I needed the "Big World" stamp set. And, I needed a fast graduation card and thought her design was perfect. Learning curve though. It's my first layering set. And I was in a hurry. And pigment inks, yes, old Color Box pigment inks, do much better than dye inks. I'm slow like that.
I'll get better. And more original. I promise.

Mortorboards Off!
Here's another graduation card, made for a friend. It features the Avery Elle set "Hat's Off", though oddly enough I preferred this sentiment from A Jillian Vance Design. Copics, X-Press It cardstock, Memento Tuxedo Black and some Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle. That's all there is to this one.
Want more graduation cards? Keep coming back to this blog. There's a couple more.

'Cause Everyone Is Graduating It Seems
I have made more graduation cards than I care to count, LOL. And I'm not done yet. This one is for a local grad, ordered by a friend of mine.
It features one of my go-to images for graduation. It is the Tiddly Inks digital image of "Wryn-Graduate-Go Great Places." I love it because you can totally customize it with the school's colors and the graduate's hair and skin color.
Copic markers, X-Press It paper. You know the drill. The letters and numbers are from Concord & 9th.
I made this card for the current challenge over at Tiddly Inks...make it rectangle. Head on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for all of the details so you can play too.

Dolphin Graduate
My co-worker needed an elementary graduation card for her daughter. Here's what I was able to do for her.
Lots of companies coming together on this one. The star of the card, the dolphin, is an old PSX stamp that I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored with Copic markers. The graduation hot is from Avery Elle's "Hat's Off". It too was stamped with Memento Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I fussy cut both images.
On a panel of white cardstock, I sponged Distress Ink Salty Ocean and Distress Oxide Broken China. I did a quick spritz of water. The sun is sponged SeaShells Conch Shell dye ink. I place a partial die cut cover up from My Favorite Things over the scene. Then with Concord & 9th's "Perfectly Penned", I stamped the school and the year.
Thanks so much for looking. I actually really like how this one turned out.

Shake Your Love
It's a Fab Friday! Fabulous indeed for many reasons.
One reason is all of the Tiddly goodness on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. Here's the card I made for the occasion. I told you that I have had many wedding cards to make. I decided to shake things up a bit by making a shaker card, LOL.
This card features the digital image of "Wedding Bells" from Tiddly Inks. I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock. I also printed a mask of the image as well. By masking the X-Press it image, I then sponged some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide for the background. I then stamped an old Hero Arts swirly image with Hero Arts White Unicorn pigment ink on top of the Distress Oxide. The results are very faint. I also stamped the swirly image around the edges of the X-Press It cardstock with the Distress Oxide. I removed the mask, and then colored the image with Copic markers. I added a pink mix of Doodlebug sequins and made a shaker card. I stamped the sentiment from Rubber Stampede onto the acetate with Hero Arts White pigment ink and heat embossed.
Another reason this is a Fab Friday is I am off and I have a great weekend planned. Woot!

It's Been Sweet
For the past two days, I had the opportunity to just create. For me. Just a chance to engage in the creative process with no final product due or in mind for that matter. It's been sweet.
This card features an image I've had for ages. It is an oldie from Your Next Stamp, part of their Darling Diva line. I've been quite intimidated by it, and finally mustered up some courage to ink it and color it. Truth be told, I'm still a bit intimidated by it but at least the rubber has now seen some ink...one of my stamping goals right now.
The sentiment is an oldie from There She Goes.
Thanks bunches for stopping by my blog. I promise, no calories.

Color My World
"As time goes on, I realize, just what you mean to me...." You know, my FAVORITE band sings that tune. ;-)
This card is a result of me playing around with the WPlus9 stamp set "Color My World". Simply some Copic marker coloring on this, along with some Glossy Accents on the "paint". The patterned paper in the background is something I've been hoarding for years...I have no clue of the maker.
