I am committed to using older images and getting my money's worth from all of those stamps purchased through the years that have yet to see much ink, if any.
This card features an image from Hero Arts. It is one of four wood-mounted stamps in a set for weddings. Kinda hard to use all four squares on a card and make it balanced. And three squares across wouldn't fit an A2 card. Hmm. So, I used the bouquet, which is my favorite of the four images and made this simple CAS card for a bridal shower at work. Old skool embossing folder too. Come to think of it, I think this was my first every embossing folder.
Thanks so much for looking. Come back again for some more old skool stamping.

Hello from Wryn and her Dog
It is okay with me if you leave my blog and go immediately to Tiddly Inks to get the cutest coloring books on the planet. Seriously!
That's right. Tiddly Inks has three new coloring books and let's just say I am in love. The pages can be printed in any size you wish. PERFECT for card fronts, I'm just sayin'. You'll be seeing a lot of from me because this is totally my style and I don't have to do any of the digital work like framing, placement of multiple images, etc. It is just done.
This is my card for Tiddly Tuesday. There's a new challenge over on the challenge blog and it is called Blooming Beautiful. Just use a Tiddly image with flowers. Easy enough. The image I used is from the new Everyday Fun with Friends Coloring Book from Tiddly Inks. I sized it for a card front and printed onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored the image with Copic markers. I added the speech bubble from There She Goes (sigh) and a partial sentiment from Taylored Expressions. I placed the image onto a card panel that was dry -embossed with a folder.
Sure hope you join us for the challenge, and I sure hope you go get your awesome coloring books now. They are priced so reasonably....you get 15 wonderful Tiddly scenes in each book. I'm just giddy!!!

Inspired by Art
I have been walking around with this card in my head for several months. I attending a conference near the tail end of January and snapped this picture that adorned the walls:
Don't you love it when you get some inspiration like this?
My card features the A Jillian Vance Design stamp set of "I'll Be Darned" by Becky Schultea. I did some masking and stamped the image of the spool of thread many times. The scene is colored with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. I put some sparkle onto the thread with my Spectrum Noir sparkle pen (I'm becoming quite addicted to it).
You can read all about this card today on the AJVD blog.
Today represents my last regular post on the A Jillian Vance Design Team. I have been a member since February 2014 and just feel it is time to move on to do some new things with my limited free time. You see, I have a room full of stamps that haven't seen ink yet, and I just want to create with these some more. I've also been trying to learn how to crochet. And I want to spend some of my free time writing, which is something I started doing for me last summer. Bunny and Jillian and Sam have been wonderful to me. I wish them nothing but the best. I will always be a fan of AJVD. The crafting industry seems so cliquey to me, and the Vance family is as real and as genuine as they come.

Wedding Bells are Ringing
So many people I know are getting married. And so many friends are requesting wedding cards for their friends who are getting married. Wedding bells are ringing.
This card features the digital image of "Wedding Bells" from Tiddly Inks. I printed it onto X-Press It paper. I printed it again on masking film. I used a negative die cut of a heart to sponge the heart with Mama Elephant Bubblegum pigment ink once I had masked off the happy couple. I then removed the mask and proceeded to color the image with Copic markers. Some Spectrum Noir sparkle pen was applied the the veil. I stamped the sentiment and small hearts, both from A Jillian Vance Design, both with Versafine Onyx Black. A few sparkling rhinestones were added for a little bling.
Today is Fab Friday over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. Go check it out.

Hummingbird
Some people color eggs, I color paper.
My day off finds me in the stamp room just playing. This card is a result of me playing with my Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Seems like everytime I put one in my hand, I do some free-hand coloring (flowers). The hummingbird is from Terry Medaris Art Stamps and was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black onto Canson watercolor paper.
Too pretty just to toss, so the panel became a card.
Thanks for visiting my blog today.

All Aboard
All aboard the Tiddly Inks Express! It's a Tiddly Tuesday and we're going on a road trip with the current challenge.
I decided to take a train, lol. This card features the digital Tiddly Inks image of "The Conductor". I printed it onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The adorable train tracks were made with a die from Taylored Expressions. The sentiment too is from Taylored Expressions.
Sure hope you join us in our travels. See the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog for all of the details, as well as for some Tiddly Inks inspiration from the design team.

Noah's Ark
Spring break is over...boo! It rained several of the days I was off last week so perhaps the weather inspired me to make this card featuring the stamp set "Noah's Ark" from A Jillian Vance Design.
I'm thinking you can pretty much guess all the deets of how I made this card. First time using a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. Whoa! Seems stronger than a Wink of Stella, but that could just be some funky lighting.
This card is featured on the A Jillian Vance Design blog today. Check it out!
