Just a Note

Tiddly Inks, Kecia Waters, music, Copic markers, musical note, Wryn
Can you believe it is already March??!!! Time for another challenge on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.  This month we have a color challenge.  Head over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog for all of the details.

My card features the Tiddly Inks digital image of Wryn-Just a Note.  I printed this cutie pie onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  I then fussy cut around the image.  The card panel utilizes a piece of gray cardstock stamped with a background stamp from A Jillian Vance Design using SSS fog dye ink.  I framed this panel with black cardstock and stamped the sentiment, which was in my stash (sorry, unknown source).  It seemed appropriate.  I then placed the entire panel and image onto a white card base.

Please join Tiddly Inks for our monthly challenge!  We'd love to see your creations!

Mermaid ATC

Tiddly Inks, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, mermaid, ATC

Yay!  It's time for another Tiddly Tuesday!  This month over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog, we are being challenged to make an Artist Trading Card (ATC).

I thought it would be fun to use one of the mermaids from the Tiddly Inks digital set Amy and Her Mini Mermaid Friends.  I printed the mermaid onto X-Press It cardstock.  I cut the cardstock so that it was slightly less than the standard 3.5 inch x 2.5 inch ATC size.  I colored the image and made the water with Copic markers.  I stamped the sentiment from A Jillian Vance Design with Versamark watermark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder from Simon Says Stamp.  I then adhered three crystal bulbs for bubbles and framed the cardstock with some 3.5 inch x 2.5 inch dark aqua colored cardstock.

Sure hope you join us for all of the fun this month.  Show us your ATCs!

Wryn Waits and Looks at the Stars

Tiddly Inks, Kecia Waters, Wryn, Copic markers, Valentine, stars, Gina Marie Designs

It is fun to be on a digital design team and NOT have a working computer.  But, I'm going through my stash of images I had printed prior to my computer dying.

This card features the adorable digital stamp from Tiddly Inks called Wryn Waits.  A while ago (LOL), I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock.  Recently (LOL), I colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut.  The card panel was sponged with some blue inks and cut with a Gina Marie Designs die to create the starry sky.  The grass was made from cardstock sponged with green (Adirondack Lettuce dye, of course) and cut with a MFT die.  The sentiment is from two companies, Honeybee Stamps and A Jillian Vance Design.  The hearts were cut with a punch and colored with Copic markers.

Perfect card for the upcoming Valentine Day holiday.  Perfect Valentine's Day gift for me...a computer!

Enchanted Rose

Brutus Monroe, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, rose, enchanted rose

I made this card to celebrate the Buckeyes win in the Rose Bowl.  I'm not sure how it didn't end up on the blog until now.  Oh well.

The beautiful image is from Brutus Monroe and is called Enchanted Rose.  I colored it with Copic markers.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

Woof!

Tiddly Inks, coloring book, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, dogs, woof

I'm here!  It's been awhile, I know.

My computer died and I had some other house issues going on.  And the holidays.  Stress.

But I think my little hiatus was good for me.  It made me miss my beloved hobby.  I've got some Copic refills on the way (had to beat the price hike) and soon my markers will be juicy.  That's been somewhat of a problem as of late.

I'm starting out the new year right though.  Coloring and posting.

Today is a Tiddly Tuesday!  Talk about starting out the year right!  Thank goodness the challenge is "Anything Goes" because I still don't have a computer and access to my digital images.  This image comes from the Everyday Fun with Friends coloring book from Tiddly Inks.  I had printed it prior to my computer dying onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic markers and did a bit of shading with Prismacolor pencils.  The "woof" die cut is from Recollections.

Sure hope you join us at Tiddly Inks this month for our Anything Goes challenge.  If I can do it, you can too.

Here's wishing you a crafty 2019!  I'm wishing one for myself too!
