Rainbow Angel

Terry Medaris, Kecia Waters, Prismacolor pencils, angel
So when life gives you a week off for spring break, you can get out your pencils and color late at night.

The image is called "Rainbow Angel" and is from Terry Medaris Art Stamps.  I went to his website and basically copied (or tried to copy!) his example because we all know he is the color master.  I like copying him and imagining for just one brief moment that I came up with these color combinations and color placements on my own.

I'm also imagining I am at a beach somewhere.   My mental spring break is just awesome.

My Flowers

Kecia Waters, Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers Channeling my inner Alisa Burke on this scrap piece of watercolor paper, using Kuretake Zig Clean Color Brush markers. Trying to loosen up a bit.  It was too pretty to throw away, so I made it into a card.  The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design.

Made this gloomy day, not so gloomy.

You and Me

Tiddly Inks, Kecia Waters, Copic, wedding, love, couple
TGIF!!!  For real!

A couple of weeks ago, I had to make a wedding shower card for a co-worker.  I must admit, I like how it turned out.

This card features the amazing digital image of "You and Me" from Tiddly Inks.  I printed the image onto X-Press It cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  I added the three hearts with a punch.  The sentiment is from A Jillian Vance Design.

Make sure you visit the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog today for some more Fab Friday inspiration from the Tiddly Inkers.  You'll be so glad you did.

Enjoy the much deserved weekend y'all.

You Rock

Maybe someone in your world rocks.  I know I am blessed to have several.  Why not give them a card to let them know that you know they rock.  Spread some kindness.  This world can sure use it.

This card is featured today on the A Jillian Vance Design Blog.  All this card taught me is that I need more Distress Inks.  I don't have them all, and had to dig into my I-don't-know-how-to-use-these Distress Crayons to get some colors I wanted.  Background was made with some acetate smooching.

I need to get through this week.  It is going to be a doozy, but I'm telling you there is a rainbow at the end...spring break!

Fight Like A Girl!

Today we are honoring the Lou Daubney, our fearless Design Team Leader at Tiddly Inks.  She's got a battle going on, but we have no doubt she's going to come out the winner.

To let her know just how amazing and strong she is, Christy Croll has created this image "Lou-Fight Like A Girl" for us all to use and cheer our courageous Lou onto victory.  It is a freebie. You can find it here in the Tiddly Inks shop.

To make this card, I  printed the image and colored with Copic markers.  The ribbon image is from A Jillian Vance and the sentiment is from Stampabilities.  The border of patterned paper is from a scrap.  I have no idea who made it, lol.

Stuffed Monkey

Tiddly Inks, Kecia Waters, Copic markers, stuffed monkey
It's Tiddly Tuesday over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog!  This month the theme is "Animal Magic".

For my card, I printed the stuffed animal image from the digital stamp set of "Monkey Around-Wryn".  I colored the image with Copic marker and added some Glossy Accents on his little heart patch.  I was trying to capture the texture of a stuffed animal.  I'm not sure I succeeded, but at least I thought about texture as I colored.

Sure hope you join us this month for the challenge.  You can see some awesome Tiddly Inks Design Team creations and the challenge details on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today.
