Spring Blossoms

What better way is there to make a Monday more bearable, than with a Stamp of the Week from Repeat Impressions? This week’s SOTW is "Spring Blossoms" (1320-M). The SOTW is available exclusively to Repeat Impressions blog readers at 50% OFF with the special discount code from Monday, May 7 to Sunday, May 13. To get the discount code and more information about the SOTW, please go to the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built.

To make my card, I stamped "Spring Blossoms" (1320-M) with Marvy black dye ink onto X-Press It cardstock.  I colored the image with Copic markers, and added just a hint of sparkle with Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks over the petals.  I used the out-of-the-box technique and cut the image panel with an oval Nestabilities die.  I then paper pierced around the oval.

Patterned paper from K&Company, black cardstock, and lavender cardstock form the layer panels on this card.  I paper pierced around the patterned paper and faux stitched with a white colored pencil.  I added a sheer white bow for the finishing touches.

Make sure you take a peek at the beautiful cards made by some of the other Repeat Rock Stars using the SOTW:

Dawn Bennett
Joy Hadden
Lynette Neus

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  Hope it provided you with a little whiff of spring.

Don't you just love this image? Your coloring is so awesome and your sheer ribbon is the perfect touch. Love the "out of the box" cutting, too. Fabulous card!
