I have been sick for three days and haven't really felt much up to stamping. You know, the annual sinus infection that just wipes you out. So with little time and little energy I decided to make a one layer, CAS style card. As it turns out, the image of "Peaceful Observation" (2001-M) is all you really need to make a great card as the image itself does all the work and doesn't need a lot of embellishing.
I stamped the image onto a X-Press It cardstock twice. Once on the card layer, the other to color the cat with Copic markers and cut with my Cutter-bee scissors. I placed the cat onto the card layer to add some dimension. Crystal Stickles highlight the ribbon on the cat. I did a little Copic shading around the window.
Then, I simply added a ribbon and bow, and attached a snowflake brad.
That's it.
